Geometry Jump 2 Launch

Dev Log #1

Just began my Unity game dev journey on August the 1st with the release of 'Geometry Jump'. My only goal was to create a game that functioned, to which I happily succeeded. Now today, August the 3rd, I just released 'Geometry Jump 2' and with it came a plethora of new features and updates, as described below.

Changes:

1. Addition of a Menu

2. Vertical moving hazards

3. Increased movement flow and fixed flying feature

4. Added collectable coins to increase score

6. Addition of mute toggle for sound

7. General UI and design changes

8. Hidden easteregg sound

I am very proud of this project as it took several hours and I am more than ecstatic about the results. The changes made to the original game required me to research and learn more about the different features of Unity. This research gives me more to work with for my future projects. Development on the next generation will begin tomorrow after I return home from work!
